We have started our work on fables in English. We have explored what fables are and the wise lessons we can learn from them in each story and we have read our first fable 'Woolly Wolf'. We are learning the rules for changing verbs into past tense verbs - there are so many!
This week we also went for our first swimming session. A bit splash and dash due to a hiccup with the coach, but everyone got a play in the pool and enjoyed getting into the water with their friends - hopefully a longer session next week.
Children will need wellies next week as our playground pals will be supporting activities on the field at lunchtime.
