A busy week this week and the highlight, of course, was our trip to Rockingham Castle. We had a great time visiting the castle and having a look around the building - those bell towers at the front were REALLY tall! As we walked around the castle we were able to see where Henry VIII would have held dinner parties and relaxed after a busy day being King. There were lots of portraits, which was a great link to our Art unit about Portraits and self-portraits too. A great visit and lots of information that is helping us to understand what the Tudor family was like in History.
