Today, Year 4 celebrated World Environment Day, and what an inspiring day it was. The children explored the importance of caring for their environment, discussing small but meaningful actions they can take every day to protect the planet.

They were especially excited to get hands-on in our garden area. Working together, they planted herbs and tomatoes, learning how growing their own food supports a healthier environment. The class showed great teamwork, curiosity, and care as they prepared the soil, planted the seeds, and made sure everything was watered.

We’re all looking forward to watching their plants grow over the coming weeks. A wonderful day of learning, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.
