Education Bus Visit – A Fantastic Learning Experience for All!
We recently welcomed the Life Education Bus to school, and it was an incredibly valuable experience for all our pupils. Each year group took part in engaging, age-appropriate sessions that explored important topics around health, wellbeing, and making positive choices.
Year 6 pupils had thoughtful discussions around mental health, the dangers of smoking, and different types of behaviour, including passive, aggressive, and assertive communication. They explored how to confidently stand by their decisions, even when faced with pressure, and learned about the importance of looking after their brains and overall wellbeing.
Year 4 focused on understanding the brain and the harmful effects of vaping. They also explored the concept of peer pressure—what it is, how it can influence choices, and strategies to respond to it in a positive and confident way.
Year 3 pupils learned about the body’s internal organs, with a particular focus on the brain. They discovered how the brain receives and sends messages throughout the body, helping everything function smoothly.
Our Key Stage 1 and Pre-School children explored what our bodies need to stay healthy and work effectively. They learned about the importance of sleep, eating the right foods for energy, and staying active through regular exercise.
The Life Education Bus visit was an engaging and memorable experience for all pupils. It provided them with essential knowledge and practical skills to help them make informed, healthy choices now and in the future.
A truly amazing experience for everyone involved!
