This week In Maths we have continued to represent seven in different ways, extending our learning by taking away. The children have been using the language of "one less than seven is six" or "seven takeaway six equals one".
In our topic work we have been thinking about how we grow and change throughout our lives. We discussed what jobs the children would like to have when they grow up. We also talked about then wrote some sentences.
" I will be an Ice cream van driver "
" I will be a police officer "
" I will be a midwife "
" I want to be a fire fighter ".
In Phonics we have started to learn the following sounds - ch, sh and ck. We will continue to practise these sounds when we come back to school.
