What a busy and fantastic week we’ve had! Here’s what we’ve been up to:

📖 English
We have been creating disgusting descriptions of Grendel and how he feasted on the warriors. We worked hard to improve our writing by using subordinate clauses and fronted adverbials to make our sentences more exciting and detailed!

➗ Maths
We worked super hard on fractions, focusing on finding fractions of an amount and sharing them equally. We now know that the denominator is our divider, and we used our division skills to help us solve tricky problems

🎨 Art
We completed our beautiful clay tiles using paint and then added a glossy finish. We are so pleased with the final results—they look amazing!

🌱 Science
We carried out a water transportation experiment to see how plants absorb water from the soil 🌿💧. It was fascinating to observe how water travels through plants!

🏰 History
We investigated the Holy Wars and learned about how Richard I lost the Third Crusade. We discovered that Sultan Saladin agreed to a 3-year truce, bringing the conflict to a pause.

🌟 A busy, productive, and fantastic week—well done everyone! 🌟
