It’s been an action-packed week in our classroom, full of learning, creativity, and celebration.
π English Adventures
We proudly finished our own narratives about Michael, Mina, and Skellig flying. Everyone showed off their wonderful vocabulary, and Mrs M and Mrs E were especially impressed with how confidently we used embedded clauses to bring our stories to life.
π’ Maths Explorations
In maths, we’ve been diving into prime and composite numbers, as well as factors. We worked hard to spot patterns and challenge ourselves with tricky problems, building a strong foundation for future number work.
ποΈ Geography Discoveries
Our afternoons were dedicated to finishing our mountain unit. We explored the Great Rift Valley and learned how it has influenced Mount Kilimanjaro and the Ethiopian Highlands. It was fascinating to see how geography shapes the world around us.
π History Reflections
We shared our knowledge in an assessment about why the British wanted to expand its empire. Everyone contributed thoughtful ideas, showing how much we’ve learned about history this term.
π Festive Fun
Friday brought lots of joy as we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day. We sang at full volume in assembly, filling the hall with festive cheer. To round off the week, we had our Celebration Assembly. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did — it was a wonderful chance to share our achievements and end the week on a high.
